This contractor is a scammer... hires guys off the street and asks for payment up front... then will be gone in a flash with the money

Horrible experience with these guys. They broke more stuff in our home than they fixed, from chipping marble floors to leaving tools on fresh tile, most of the stuff they installed had to be ripped out. It was our mistake for going with Frantz and his team. Don't be fooled by cheap prices- it WILL cost you more in the end. There are 100s of contractors in Florida to choose from do yourself the favor and go with someone else as this company is a pure scam.

GREAT GUY...AND A WONDERFUL COMPANY (things are just getting started and I'm excited already ) I CALLED HIM WITH AN EMERGENCY REALLY CONFUSED ON IF THE WALL WAS DONE AND/OR DAMAGED... AND HOW MUCH WOULD IT COST ME DURING AN PANDEMIC ....HE PROVIDED THE SAME DAY APPT ...AND BEGAN WORK 2 DAYS LATER. THE MAN IS A GENIUS I TELL YOU. SAVED ME A COUPLE HUNDRED DOLLARS AND ALOT OF HEADACHE! THANK YOU SO MUCH FRANTZ ! I WOULD DEF USE YOUR SERVICES AGAIN AS WELL AS TELL MY PEERS !

Cadet Home Improvement ( Frantz Cadet) is someone I would not recommend working on your home. It started off well but we noticed a few things that led me to believe that I had made a mistake. 1) Removed popcorn ceiling but did not remove the fans so all the dried popcorn ceiling was left on the fans for weeks. In the end, I will have to uninstall the fans and remove this debris by myself. 2) One of his helpers managed to get my personal phone number and had a discrepancy with Frantz so he contacted me about it. I referred him back to Frantz but very unprofessional. 3) Several change orders were made to reflect our purchasing of kitchen appliances and countertops and we even purchased the cabinets but Frantz's estimates did not reflect this. 4) A door that was to be installed (I purchased the door and it was prehung) was incorrectly hung and the screws were crooked so it would not close. 5) No cleanup or taping off any areas he worked it... I still have plaster on my floors and walls... this was weeks ago and no move to clean it. 6) We had a refrigerator there. During the moving, they proceeded to leave two indents... as if they used their shoes to push it back and forth. 7) Left steel tools lying around on freshly laid time floor. When asked, by the contractor for the tile to lay down some cardboard, he was promptly ignored. 8) One of his workers used a non-working toilet to urinate in after they were told it was not working. These were things that I noticed and when brought up, he would say that he would take care of this or that but nothing was done. After noticing that I was paying more than was brought up by the several estimates and revisions, I asked him to explain and send me a proper estimate to figure out why I was over budget... I received the same estimate (non-itemized) he had sent before. So I did some calculations based on what I paid and what was done and came to the conclusion that he was going to charge me over 7000 dollars to install cabinets already assembled and delivered (at my expense). At this point, after talking to Frantz explaining that he felt justified charging that amount, we agreed nothing could be done. He picked up his tools and did not even speak a word to me the whole time but felt it appropriate to leave both doors open when he left. I have still been emailing him in the hopes I can get some itemized invoice reflecting credits and services rendered in the hopes of understanding but he would rather take what money he had of me and not bother. So, I cannot recommend Frantz Cadet from Cadet Home Improvement.
