I fired Daniels heating and air from my job due to rude, disrespectful, unprofessional behavior. When they called to reschedule our appointment to install a split system in the upstairs of our newly purchased home I made sure to tell them we live 80 miles (through Nashville) from the home so if they are going to make the appointment for 8am to please be there at 8am. The day of the appointment arrived and I loaded myself and my kids into the car at 6am to be on time. When I arrived they were not there. I called all three numbers at 8:15 and left a message on one of them. At 8:40 I received a call from the office and was told I "was next in line. Mondays are just like this sometimes." When I mentioned that the appointment was set for 8am he (Tyler) said he would contact his dad (Troy, owner of business) and have him call me and let me know when he was on his way. 9:05 I received a call from Troy that went like this: Troy: I have to drop some stuff off, I'll be there in about 40 minutes. Me: The appointment was made for 8a. Now you're saying you'll be here at 9:45a at the earliest? Troy: Well, I'll tell you what, I can be there in 30 minutes or I can not come at all. How about that? Me: Uh, that was incredibly rude and unprofessional. Troy: Well you're being rude to me. Me: I am not being rude. I'm simply letting you know that your company had a failure in communication and your customer has had to make accommodations because of it. I'm telling you this so you can make corrections and another customer doesn't experience the same thing. Troy: Well, I've never had this problem before so it must just be you. I'll be sure to address it. 10:15a Troy still hasn't arrived and I've decided I'm tired of waiting since I'm going to fire him. I call and this is how that conversation goes: Me: We have changed our minds and are going to use a different company. We no longer need your services. Troy: THANK YOU SO MUCH Me: You have been incredibly rude, unprofessional and disrespectful. You have lost our business. Troy: THANKS SO MUCH YOU HAVE ANSWERED ALL MY BLESSINGS. *then he hangs up on me* Me: schedules appointment with another HVAC company. The whole situation was so absurd I could hardly believe it even happened. I was rude for mentioning they were going to be 2 hours late for an appointment? The way Troy handled himself was despicable and embarrassing for him and his company. They lost a 10k job and 10 years of maintenance and repairs with us. I would never recommend this company.
