Sam's Carpet Cleaning

We recently hired Sam's Carpet Cleaning to clean carpets at a property we manage. They were able to accommodate us on short notice, which we appreciated. However, they arrived just as our house cleaners were leaving, and the cleaner called to inform me that the carpet cleaners were tracking mud all over the freshly cleaned floors. When I asked if they were using booties over their shoes, I was told they weren't. I requested the cleaner to check the property after Sam's Carpet Cleaning finished to ensure they cleaned up after themselves. Unfortunately, they did not. There were muddy shoe prints all over the hardwood floors and chunks of debris left behind. The place smelled stale and musky, unlike the clean scent we usually experience with other carpet cleaners. We had to pay our cleaner to clean up after Sam's Carpet Cleaning, which we shouldn't have had to do. When I called Sam's the next morning, the person who answered the phone was very dismissive, I stated that their cleaning crews didn't wear booties or clean up after themselves. There were no apologies or offers to make things right—just a dismissive attitude. We will never use them for a job at one of our properties again.
