Kennedy, president, is degreed from Michigan State University in Human, Environment and Design. She is a licensed builder and interior designer in the state of Michigan and has received accreditation from the National Council for Interior Design Qualification, NCIDQ. She has designed and managed projects that have received national, state and local recognition from professional organizations such as the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) and the American Institute of Architects (AIA). Locally, she has won awards from publications, such as Detroit Home Magazine, and contributed time and displayed projects to benefit Bon Secours Hospital.
