I hire this business for a bathroom remodel, by writing this review I want to protect others from experience financial loss and personal inconvenience/burden as I did. He was hire for a job with a expected down payment per contract. Prior to completing the job he requested more payments and he was pay almost in full against my better judgment, I still have to pay another business to complete the job. His job was poor, leaving loose and uneven tile and bump in the drain. Not only he was pay almost in full, my husband also took time to help him to speed the job , at the end i had to hire another person that have to replace the shower floor and finish the job In my experience and the experience of those I know the amount of time it took to complete this job was unreasonable alongside the lack of communication and no show. My experience with this business was awful To be clear, this complaint is regarding Mr. Bowman’s business and product, no other assumptions as an individual. Two agreements were signed, one in May of 2018 and a second one in August of 2018 as we decided to make additions. The deposit was paid in full in August of 2018, and per the agreement the remaining balance is due in two equal draws. The predicted end dates consistently changed pending other projects from other clients. Communication lacked regarding when to expect him at our house, and this included lack of showing up despite verbalizing or texting he would be working on this project. Due to the continued extensions, we were personal inconvenienced and my spouse volunteered to assist so that the project could be pushed along and completed on time. The first draw was paid in October. Within 1 week of the first draw, another payment was requested against contract. And then again another payment was requested against contract in November. Therefore by November 8, 2018, the project was paid just short of $375 in full despite the project not being completed until March 2019. Regarding the tiles, no explanation or communication was done to express the impairments in floor structure. Instead tile was layed unevenly resulting in repeated attempts to correct this (including personal cost of more tiles). When Mr. Bowman later attempted to claim the tiles will not be perfectly even because of floor structure, I became uncomfortable to allow him to continue (as my previous tiles were even and there had been no change in floor structure). I chose to hire a second professional to complete the tiles so that I would be happy with the end result. The second professional stated that due to improper original installment of Mr. Bowman, the tiles would be even with the exception of 2/3, and to have all even I would have to buy even more tiles to correct the original problem. Because I had payed Mr. Bowman all but $375, I could not afford to buy more tiles as well as the cost of the second professional. And since I had already payed Mr. Bowman almost in full, I did expect him to complete the remainder of the job. He has yet to request the remaining balance of $375 knowing my dissatisfaction, but the project was not completed in full by him (my husband took time away from work and personal time to push the project along and another professional completed the tile work). In summary, my complaints are regarding lack of communication, poor project management, request of payments out of contract, and untimely execution (7 months for 1 bathroom using the same counters).

I hired Greg Bowman to put in a mailbox. He charged me $160 to put in the mailbox. I thought that was expensive, considering I purchased the materials for more than $115 (so that the mailbox end up costing us $275 after installation). The installation was a decent enough job, though I would have preferred the plastic white cover that goes over the wood to go all the way to the ground without the wood actually showing at the bottom. The following week, I needed cameras installed in my home, and I needed it done quickly so that we could have them installed before we went out of town. I hired him to install them for $400. He mounted 8 cameras over a 2 day period, spending maybe 5 hours total installing them (coming and going as he pleased, never actually showing up at the time he said he would). My time is valuable and this was infuriating. Before he left on the 2nd day, he said we needed AC adapter extensions, so I ordered them next day to get the job done (cost me an ADDITIONAL $30 to overnight them). He was made aware that I paid additional to have them arrive the next day. He asked before he left on the 2nd day if I could go ahead and pay him, stating he would be back to finish with the extension cords and that he would hide the wires with molding and paint. Trusting that he was a man of his word (stupid and naive, I KNOW), I paid him $400 in CASH before he left on the 2nd day. The extensions were to arrive the next day (on the 3rd day). He called me on the third day to ask if the extension cords had arrived. I told home yes. THEN he proceeded to tell me that he was going out of town (this was on a Wednesday) and that he would have to finish the next week. It has been two weeks and I haven't heard a peep from him. Not one word. He got $400 for 5 hours of work, and did not complete the work he said that he would. I truly believe that after I paid him, he had NO intention of returning to do what he said he would. Do NOT be fooled by this man--his seemingly nice Christian guy ACT. He is a SHADY CON MAN. I feel like such a fool, but a valuable lesson has been learned, and if I can save someone else from being screwed by this CON MAN, then some good came out of it.
