Land Scenes installed hardscape and sod for us post-construction. While they did a decent job on the hardscape, I have never worked with anyone less reliable about showing up when promised. Add to this the failure to apply for a needed permit in a timely fashion and what was approximately a week’s worth of work took over a year to complete. Had I not already paid them a significant amount of money and was waiting for them to replace about a hundred perennials they had mistakenly dug out, I would have just called it quits and hired someone else.

We had a very disappointing experience with this company. They did a beautiful job installing pavers in our driveway approach. HOWEVER, they started work on a paver trim for the driveway before they had the permit. When the village denied the permit, it took forever for the company to have someone come out to restore sprinklers and sod. Now they claim they merely "referred" us to the sprinkler company, and a refusing to pay the costs of the restoration of our lawn, despite the fact it was their fault they started the project without the permit. The owner ignored phone calls and messages (text and email). Please avoid this company.
