I will NEVER hire Mark again and I do NOT recommend This company at all! In my experience - from the start - communication was ok, but very sparse. He did provide a free estimate (weeks out) but, a day before the scheduled job he lost his estimate and asked if I still had mine that I could send to him. Not really a big deal- things happen. I sent pictures of all of the minor repairs that were needed. Mark even went to the rental property to see the repair work for himself, what needed to be done, and give me an estimate. Scheduling was weeks out from the time of the initial estimate. However, once the job was performed, as the property manager, I had to reach back out to him about the half-done, crappy DIY services he provided and overcharged for. Needless to say, the repair work that I was expecting from a real, experienced, professional handyman to do, was not done to my satisfaction in several ways! Check it out: he threw the old door into the yard, the trim replacement job wasn't done at all-even though that was one of the pictures he received, two originally, wood-stained doors that had small holes in them were replaced. Good job on the installation of both doors (bedroom/closet). BUT---despite me telling him that I want everything restored to its original condition, he left the bedroom door unstained/unfinished, so it looks unappealing as compared to the closet door next to it; and, the other one (a bedroom door) was installed as plain white. To add, he used plaster to seal cracks in the hallway and the living room walls. The hallway held up even though the paint job doesn’t match, while the living room re-cracked just 3 days later and his paint doesn’t match the stucco wall. SMH!! I asked for restoration, not a DIY project. After going back and forth about the service, via text, all Mark did was shift blame, make excuses, turned it around on me and the tenant, said he wasn’t paid in full, and that he gave me what I asked for..a “repair”...... Mark's tone, attitude, energy, and professionalism was demeaning and unacceptable. It got to the point where I had to block him, and he reached out to the tenant instead. Mark gave both myself and the tenant his word that he would come back out and fix the cracks in the living room wall. Approximately 6-8 weeks later, he shows up at the tenant's house and tells her it's going to be another $250 for any repairs. WAIT. WHAT!?
