Personal pavilion

Aug 2014

This is a 20' x 20' pavilion I built for a customer who has a private pond on his property. He was in need of some shade and a place to sit while fishing with friends and family. The red cedar and green roof matches his existing log home.

Outdoor kitchen

Jun 2014

bathroom remodel

May 2014

Total demo of the existing bath down to framework. We replaced the small outdated existing walk in shower with a 8' x 3' custom walk in shower with a inset soap/shampoo cubbie along with a lower cubbie to make leg shaving and feet cleaning a little easier. We replaced the pedestal sink with a custom vanity with a granite top and moved the toilet to the other side of the bathroom to give more floor space and to allow us the room we needed for the oversize shower. Of course a total paint job and staining of the new vanity was required.

bathroom remodel

May 2014

This bathroom was brought down to the studs. It had a cultured marble shower, sheet vinyl flooring and a linen cabinet that existed where the new makeup sitting area is. The new cabinets where custom built to suite the new layout. A tile shower complete with a over sized inset shampoo holder and two lower insets for making leg shaving and feet cleaning easy. The old flooring was replaced with ceramic hardwood to withstand the damage that water can inflict on wood but still give the bathroom a warm look and feel. Granite counter tops finish everything off along with a inset mirror area and extra inset for personal items.

bathroom remodel

Aug 2013

We removed the existing tub and tile surround and replaced it with a deep jetted soaking tub. The vanity was antiqued to the customers specs and the vanity counter top was replaced with granite. We built a small inset into the wall to allow a little extra nic nac storage. Along with some recessed can lights and a beautiful copper sink, this bathroom turned out to be a complete success!

two car covered parking and door awning

Jul 2013

This is a free standing two car covered parking pad and a matching awning. my customers live on a farm and wanted a place to park there utility vehicles. The theme of there new house has a old western look with plenty of western red cedar, stone and metal. So we built these two structures as to fall in line with the existing new house.

Exterior makeover

Feb 2013

Removed all siding, windows, columns and front door on this house. The old aluminum siding was replaced with concrete siding (hardie board), which will never rot and holds paint better than wood or masonite, giving this house a permanent fix to the problem of rotting wood. The windows were replaced with high efficiency windows. The old iron columns where replaced with 12" round permacast columns, which like the siding, will never rot and will hold paint better than wood or iron. The front door and non operating windows on the porch where replaced with a oversize stained grade door and two non operating door/windows to compliment the front door. We added some coffered beams and crown moulding on the porch ceiling, along with a baby blue ceiling to give this project a old southern Louisiana look and feel. The slate covered front porch and added stoop under the front door and windows added a perfect touch to the overall look of this project!
