Road runner Moving

AVOID if you want to keep your mental health. my parents have just used this company to move from the West to the East coast. This company had their stuff for months, not telling them where it was being stored. The company have charged my parents thousands of dollars extra to get their stuff delivered and held their belongings hostage until the additional money was paid. When the movers turned up, they again tried to charged them an additional $2200 as the movers had to stay overnight. This resulted in the local police becoming involved and informing the company the law was on my parents side and they needed to unload the stuff and they would not be getting extra money. They have no done this however there is missing items of value. My parents have asked for the contract 9 times which has still not been provided and are now having to instruct a lawyer to recover the additional money they have been charged and missing items. This has caused weeks of stress on both my parents who are now down thousands of dollars. This company is an absolute scam! They take advantage of people and hold your stuff to ransom until you pay whatever additional charges they decide you need to pay. Avoid this company at all costs And go with a reputable firm. The reviews on their website are made up and they wrote these reviews themselves to reel people in. I had to move out of my childhood home, and into an apartment and from the moment I called Roadrunner Moving, I was treated so well. The crew on the phone were so fantastic! I cannot praise them enough. They were prompt, polite, careful, considerate. I had antique furniture and a ton of boxes. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone.
