The workers are awesome and worked extremely hard. The owners are on separate pages and giving clients false information. We hired B&K movers to switch apartments. Orginally we were going from a second floor apartment to a second floor apartment in the next building over; no truck needed. Quoted $100 an hour for 3-4 hours of work with a crew of 2 men. We found out that we were actually switching to an apartment further away and another level higher. Quote changed to $140 an hour, $59 for the truck, and still a crew of 2 men. Time frame 4 -5 hours. Still the best quote I got after calling around. Robert Bruno even promised that the crew could assemble the bunk bed into two and put our positional bed back together. They show up in an itty bitty U-haul truck ($19.95 rental) to move my two bedroom apartment. They start with all my boxes. We hit the 3 hour mark and they haven't even begun to move the furniture (everything that we can't move by ourselves). One of the owners Kimo was telling me that their truck had broken days prior to our move. If he had booked me, it would have been a three man move for the same time frame. He also said they didn't have all of their equipment because they had to rent this uhaul truck. I tell them that I have to figure out how I was going to pay them for the extra time, and that is why Kimo says that Bruno can get me on a payment plan. The whole move took 8.5 hours to complete, and we were even walking over and driving over a ton of stuff by ourselves to make the job go faster. You have to pay before they will move up the last piece. We get on the phone with Bruno and tell him we need to do a payment plan. He instantly starts yelling at us for booking a service that we knew we wouldn't be able to afford. We also should have told him before the work was done that we couldn't afford all of it so he could tell us about the payment plan. We were at fault that his crew took twice as long and we should have told him at the beginning that we had a time frame. We tried to explain that if they had the proper equipment and staff, the job would have been done in the quoted time frame. Bruno still insisted it was our fault it took longer because we weren't up front about how much stuff we had. He then goes on to say that he could do the payment plan with interest, and we would have pay weekly until it is paid off (we don't get paid weekly and he didn't even ask when we could pay). Finally he said he could take off two hours of work but we would need to pay it all right then. We were fine with that because we had managed to get the extra amount while we were all yelling at each other. Bruno told his worker to make a note that the rest of the cost is a donation from Oracle. The two owners do not communicate with each and puts the costumer in the middle. If I communicated with one owner about the pricing and concerns, he should be going to the other owner and telling him what is happening; we already have enough stress on a moving day. We had to hire a babysitter for our two kids. We had to also pay them the 4.5 extra hours they watched the kids. The receipt had the terms on the back. Basically if their crew gets in an accident, gets a ticket, breaks down, takes longer then expected, or anything else happens, then you (the client) has to pay for it. Like I said at the beginning of the review, the crew were very hard working and very apologetic. They were telling me that this wasn't the first time they have gotten to jobs that they were not prepared for. One even said if he had known the parameters of the moved had changed, he wouldn't had gone out with his buddies the night before. Wished I had enough to tip them, but their boss got under my skin that I had to walk away. Guess we are out of the drawing for a free dinner.

Complete Nightmare. Worked with Kimo Lucero and thought everything was going great until he stopped midway through the move to have me sign a contract and pay cash or Venmo his boss, Robert Bruno, double the amount that was quoted. He walked out of the job, locked the moving truck with 2/3 of my belongings, locked himself in the cab of the moving truck like a coward. Kimo refused to work with me or talk to me. They highjacked my property until I paid them double the cost that Kimo promised. The boss, Robert Bruno was verbally harassing me and even went as far as to call the police even though, I repeatedly said I’d pay the amount Kimo quoted, plus $150. Nope. Robert Bruno choose to call Lakewood Police and waste there resources to Bully and Intimidate. The police officer was kind and said that the scam Robert and Kimo were pulling happens often and to take them to small claims. Robert and Kimo are unprofessional, and how they handled the job was completely unacceptable. Rude and verbally abrasive. I paid what Robert demanded on Venmo and Kimo the belongings in the parking garage of my apartment building. Even after I paid them, they did not come close to doing the job. My 16 yo son and I had to move everything from the parking garage to our apartment. I have pictures of all the items they did not move. They damaged the furniture the did move including a leather couch, lamp, dresser, and lost or took the dowels to a bed.
