About Greg Collins Contracting
Greg is an experienced carpenter, plumber, electrician, and handyman. Since finishing a tour in the Marine Corps in 1988, Greg has built homes, run a cabinet shop, installed bathrooms, kitchens, and done numerous full house renovations. Greg understands and enjoys the challenge of working with older homes. All of the following, and much more is available: Decks, roofing, doors and windows, siding, new and replaced kitchens and baths, new hardwood floors and refinishing, drywall, additions, fences, carports and garages, sheds, rot and storm damage repair. All work is performed by Greg, so you are dealing directly with the craftsman, not a "project manager" that hires others to do the work. Greg lives in Etowah with his wife Pam. Greg is also a Pilot and Flight Instructor at Johnson Field in Hendersonville. Free estimates are gladly given. All calls are returned promptly.

| 1194 Eastbrook Lane | Apr 2014 | This our current project. This home was repossessed last year. The roof had large leaks. The interior was wet and moldy. Everyone that looked at the project believed the home would have to be condemned. We have rebuilt the roof structure and installed a new metal roof, along with 6" seemless gutters and gutter guards. Once the home was dried in, we removed all of the interior walls, and the complete floor structure in the front half of the house. The crawlspace was sealed off, insulated, and lined with 6 mil plastic prior to the replacement of the floor joists and subfloor. The interior walls have been replaced. All wiring has been updated. New insulation has been installed, and we are currently sheetrocking. The next step will be gutting and rebuilding of the back of the house, including 2 bathrooms and a new kitchen. | $14k | Hendersonville, NC |
