Founded in 2008 HimmelHume Architecture is a fast paced, award winning design firm located in Richmond, Virginia. We are SWAM certified and specialize in commercial, industrial (healthcare and laboratory) and residential architecture. Our reputation has been built on quality design using practical and proven technologies for dependable results. Company founders Bob Himmel and Jeff Hume have over 50 years experience in the business and practice of architecture. Over the course of their careers they have worked with individuals, corporations, government agencies, and building committees of all types; with novices and with seasoned building professionals and teams on projects throughout the mid-Atlantic. In addition to being Clemson University graduates Bob and Jeff share a common goal to provide well designed projects that bring extraordinary value to their clients. All successful projects result from a collaborative effort and are built on the combined talents of everyone involved. We seek to learn as much from you as you do from us.
