F&G construction replaced the roof on my mother's house. The actual price was a little over $1000 above the estimate. It would have been nice for the heads up of the increase cost before the job was completed. For that I would give him 3 stars, however he did have to replace the roof boards on 3 sides before installing the shingles. For that and the final appearance of the roof as well as my mother is satisfied with the work I will give him an overall rating of 4 stars. I would recommend that if you plan to use this contractor let him know you want to know the price increase as the jobs is in progress and not wait until the end of the project. My mother's house is old so the cost seems reasonable but would have been nice to know the significant increase in advance. My mother mentioned that neighbors have stopped to complement how good the roof looks. She did request the 30 year warranty shingles. I received photos of the work and it looks nice.
