Rod Koehler is the owner of 2K Landscape Design and has been in the Lincoln area landscape industry for 22 years. Rod started his own business, 2K Outdoor Living Inc., which evolved into 2K Landscape Design LLC. He has a passion for design and a desire to see things done right, the difference is in the details. 2K Landscape Design is not your typical store front business. We focus on the design and installation aspect of the landscape industry and meet our clients at their homes or places of business. Our projects are natural looking, low maintenance, tailored to the individual with a unique and creative edge. Sometimes the client provides the ideas, other times we provide the ideas and vision, but we always work together as we develop them into reality. We are open minded, and always ready to meet the needs of a client and work with them in a variety of ways. We also offer plant or material deliveries for those clients who choose to do some of their own installation. SERVICES: LANDSCAPES So much can be added to a yard through proper landscaping, color, texture, shade, year-round interest. We carefully choose the right plant for the right location and only use quality trees, shrubs, perennials, and landscape materials. Boulders and water features are just two options that can be added to create interest. WATER FEATURES Waterfalls, ponds, streams and fountains. We enjoy making our waterfalls, ponds and streams look natural. Fountains can come in any size or shape. They can be constructed of a number of different materials, and be formal, informal, whimsical, or what ever the sight or homeowner dictates. No one can resist the sights and sounds of a well designed and properly installed water feature. PATIOS No doubt about it, brick or paver patios and walks have charm. There are a lot of nice materials to choose from when it comes to installing a brick or cobblestone project. We can help you decide the color, style, and design for your patio or walk. OUTDOOR STRUCTURES Decks, Gazebos, Archways, Covered seats, Pagodas, Custom Designs. We can help you design the perfect structure for your needs, for function or as a point of interest. We hand select all our cedar, and screw fasten all materials. There are also low maintenance man made materials available. Each creation is one of a kind. RETAINING WALLS All though we install a lot of Versalok block walls, we can design and install walls with any man made block or natural stone materials. Retaining walls can add a lot of interest to a landscape as well as being a functioning part of the property. Curves, angles, and steps are some of the options you can design into a wall. We build all our retaining walls on a level, packed limestone base and can engineer any retaining wall that requires extra height, weight restraints, or special requirements. LANDSCAPE LIGHTING So much charm and drama can be created through the use of outdoor lighting. We can help you design and install the right system to result in an interesting nightscape you can enjoy into the evenings. Our light fixtures are pro quality and well designed. The transformers come with photocells and timers so you don't have to worry about the maintenance or turning the system on and off. GENERAL LANDSCAPE CONTRACTING 2K Landscape Design also offers a general contracting service that can over see your entire landscape project including grade work, sod, seeding, and sprinklers, from start to finish.
