Summit Design and Engineering Services, PLLC (Summit) is a an industry-leading, full-service design and engineering firm specializing in architecture, construction engineering and inspection, environmental engineering, structural engineering, construction materials testing, special inspections, roadway design, hydrologic/hydraulic design, surveying, geotechnical engineering, land development, and construction management. Our firm was founded on engineering design and surveying, and these remain our core disciplines. Since 1997, Summit has grown its core services and developed related disciplines to provide a full range of consulting engineering services to both public and private sector clients. Today, our firm employs over 120 professionals and technicians across its various disciplines. Summit has expanded to four office locations (Hillsborough, Raleigh, Durham and South Boston, Va.) and has field inspectors and technicians throughout North Carolina. Summit is a certified Small Professional Services Firm (SPSF). Summit has garnered much attention and praise for the quality services we perform daily, including: named the 37th fastest-growing private company in the Triangle by the Triangle Business Journal, winning two ACEC/NC 2015 Engineering Excellence Awards, and named a "Company on the Move" by the Association for Corporate Growth of Raleigh-Durham.
