The client was very happy with the work my guys provided. So much that he asked how much they were getting paid if hourly or daily or by the job and tried to figure out if he could "cut out the middle guy." his texts reflect this. My workers are loyal and happy and they immediately informed me of this. The client did not like this and stopped all work. My guys did work beyond what was required and quoted. The client complained about the last contractor "having left the job after paying him." I am very cautious when a client calls at the last minute on a Sunday for emergency services that another contractor should have completed. After speaking with the previous contractor, my suspicions were confirmed. There was a generator brought which only had sufficient power to run a light bulb. We had to ask neighbors for electricity, which we were only able to get for a couple of hours. All cuts had too be made manually. We will let the photos speak for themselves. In reply to the complaints of what was done or not done, the client wanted only what was quoted. He wanted to pay as you go one item at a time. Typically for a house in the condition shown in the photos you do an all inclusive quote to take care of all the rot first then restore. We did what he requested because he said he had a plan.
