AES was formed to bring a wealth of knowledge from the construction and electrical industries into an Energy Conservation minded organization specializing in Green energy practices. From General construction, New homes, Solar PV, Thermal Solar to energy saving upgrades and practices for the residential and commercial markets. AES can evaluate your particular needs and concerns regarding energy consumption in your home and workplace to help you make informed decisions about energy savings and possible upgrades to save you money. Energy consumption in residential areas has had a shift from heating and cooling being the major consumers of electricity to electronics being the largest consumer of electricity. Installation and replacement of old heating and air conditioning equipment with new more energy efficient units has played a big part in this shift. With more and more electronic devices being used in the home it is even more important now to conserve energy. Just because you turned the TV off from the remote doesn't mean that it is not consuming electricity. What can you do to reduce energy consumption? One of the largest forms of renewable energy is solar. Solar technology is now poised to play a larger role in the future, thanks to new developments that could result in lower costs and improved efficiency. In fact, the solar PV industry aims to provide half of all new U.S. electricity generation by 2025. More and more architects are recognizing the value of active and passive solar and learning how to effectively incorporate it into building designs. Solar hot water systems can compete economically with conventional systems in some areas. Perhaps the future is here now. Shell has predicted that 50% of the world's energy will come from renewable sources by 2040. In recent years manufacturing costs of photovoltaic cells has dropped by 3-5% per year while government subsidies have increased. While to some such facts about solar energy seem trivial, this makes solar energy an ever-more affordable energy source. Bringing together renewable energy solutions such as solar and wind power, and smart construction practices help to reduce the need for using fossil fuels for all of your energy needs. In some cases solar energy can be used to power 100% of the energy used in your home. AES can help you become more energy conscious of your residential or commercial project and help you to make informed decisions to best serve your needs and budget.
