FHLdesign Owner/Design Director Christi Whitsell Hawkins, NCIDQ Cert #019345 Christi has over 15 years of experience in both new construction and renovation projects, with responsibilities in all design phases from project concept through completion. Her strong research & analytic skills allow thorough identification of project needs. She develops unique yet cost-feasible design solutions, and employs a proactive approach when project challenges arise. Christi offers a hands-on approach to all phases of the design process. She communicates & collaborates effectively with clients as well as other team members, including project architects, MEP consultants, contractors, & product vendors. She maintains a working knowledge of local building codes & Americans with Disabilities Accessibility Guidelines, in addition to current architectural & interior products & design trends. She is currently pursuing LEED certification & is engaged in the specification of environmental products & design procedures.
