BROADMAN DESIGN/BUILD, est. 2008

I had two months to gut and rebuild the kitchen in my 1930s house in West University. After several conversations about my ideal kitchen, Catherine proposed a fantastic design for the space. There were some great ideas I would never have thought of, and creative, clever uses of space. It took every day of that two months to level the house, move pipes, reconfigure the A/C vents, rewire for new lights and outlets, install new hardwood, cabinets, tile and appliances. I have the most beautiful, functional kitchen I have ever had. I love it. In addition, Catherine pointed out my need for new insulation throughout the house, and directed some other small projects that I had been wanting to address. Catherine is easy to work with, I feel like she really listens to what I say, and then works to have the design reflect my ideas. She also liked honoring the era of my house in the design so that the kitchen, although brand new, looks like it belongs to the rest of the house. I've worked with two other contractors in Houston and am looking forward to remodeling my master bath with Catherine in the future.
