I am an A+ certified computer tech (COMPTIA A+ Certificate Verification Number: C6CDTT2712) that is involved with the sale and installation of surveillance equipment, computers and their related repair, as well as home repair, which includes a variety of home remodeling and installation skills, such as light fixture and other electrical installations, wall floor and ceiling installation as well as bathroom remodeling. I developed my handyman skills by rebuilding my parents house after it was totaled in a fire. This included adding a second car garage, a large room on top of that and a 5' x 15' covered porch & roof on top of that. Every second or 3rd year I would travel back to my parents house and ready it for the winter in the northeast since my move to Texas in 1991. This included roof repair as well as the full remodel of the homes 2 and a half baths as well as the kitchen and the installation of interior and exterior lighting fixtures along with ceiling fans. I will handle practically any job that does not require a license. So, I can fix your electrical plug or replace it, replace your light fixtures or just change out the bulbs in those 'hard to get to' places. I can do a variety of plumbing work as well including toilet installations, drain 'unclogs' and replacement and faucet and other fixture replacement. If there is a bookshelf or desk you need assembled, I do these things as well as hang your pictures if that is what you need. I will hang or replace your cabinets and install your over the range microwave and attach it to the exhaust system. Ask me if I'm able and willing to do it and the worst answer you will get is a 'no', and that is usually only if its something I'm not skilled enough to do or I need a license to do. I will gladly tell you if a job is beyond my skillset and that you need to hire a 'licensed professional, however, there are many things you would hire a licensed professional for that I can do.

Kitchen Remodel | Jul 2003 | Tiled kitchen floor to facilitate installation of new dishwasher, stove, above range convection oven microwave as well as a stacked washer & dryer along with the old two door fridge as well as installing a new water softener and humidifier in the basement. | $6k | Pittsburgh, PA
Bathroom Remodel | Dec 1999 | Remodeled 2 full baths and one 'powder room'. In the case of both full baths, it turned out the tiles around the tub were not secured onto 'water resistant' drywall and this lead to the supporting drywall deteriorating as well as the 2nd floor bath leaking into the first floor bedroom as well as the first floor full bath leaking into the 2 car garage. Replaced the tiles and related drywall with 'green water / moisture resistant drywall and replaced the tiles with the same material many Walmarts and other commercial establishments use for their bathrooms. Installed safety bars as well and used the remaining parts of board to redo the walls of the powder room. Installed water conservative toilets in each bath as well as replaced faucets and drains. | $3k | Pittsburgh, PA
Home Rebuild After Fire | Dec 1982 | Rebuilt parents house after it was totaled in a fire. This included the addition of a 'second car' garage, a room above that and a 5' x 15' covered porch above that along with the related roof for the balance of the room. Installed false ceiling in the room. This project was done by me as my parents had been ripped off by contractors till they didn't have any more funds to hire anyone. This left me to do a lot of 'follow-up work and unaware of some defective work done by the contractors that only became clear some years later. | $30k | Pittsburgh, PA |
