Griffin Construction

Griffin Construction abandoned our project, leaving us with a shell of a space requiring costly repairs to correct their incorrect work and to finish out what was to be done per our contract. The majority of work was done by unlicensed and minimally skilled individuals with little to no oversight. When we pointed out incorrect work and expressed concerns over workers openly stating they weren't sure how to do the work they were sent to do, they deemed us "difficult" and refused to communicate or finish the project despite the money they were paid or the contract in place. The project managers of past years are no longer with the company, leaving a visible gap in the company that is effecting their ability to oversee jobs and communicate in proper ways with clients. Their memberships with the National Kitchen and Bath Association and Greater Houston Builder's Association prominently noted on their website are no longer in place to date, per direct confirmation with these companies. The better business bureau specifically states Griffin Construction is NOT an accredited member, contrary to what's stated on this website. Robert begged us to hire them stating they were "the best" and we would regret hiring anyone else, yet hiring them is the only thing we regret as we are now left to piece our master suite back together in the shambles they left it in, a venture that will cost us much added money, time and emotional burden. It should be noted that following the posting of our honest experience on other websites, Robert Griffin demanded their removal and left retaliatory negative reviews on my professional work site telling people to avoid doing business with me. These actions speak volumes for themselves. I'm more than happy to provide pictures of the state they left our space in, contract and payment details, or provide additional details/correspondence to supplement this review and document what's stated within.
