Littlefield Construction has been in construction since 1999; learning from the most skilled contractors (truly the best) in the region, moving up the ranks and refining my craft. Before starting my own business, I was a partner in building million dollar homes. This taught me that there are no shortcuts and that every detail matters. I pride myself on ensuring that everything is done right and done once. I not only see myself as a great carpenter, but as an effective leader who can get everyone on the same page to move forward together. I have been working with the same sub-contractors since 1999, because they are the best in the business. They are highly trained, highly skilled and always praised by customers for their work. They are trust-worthy, professional and like family to me. I enjoy my job, working with homeowners, ensuring the project runs smoothly and bringing their dreams to life. I have the creative instinct and the industry knowledge to take the homeowner's ideas and turn them into viable options. I have completed projects of all scopes and sizes and budgets. No job is too big or too small. The two most important things in my life are my family and my work. I feel proud of and blessed to have both. - Adam Littlefield

Duxbury Kitchen | Jul 2013 | We Built the entire kitchen from scratch. The homeowner wanted shaker style cabinets, and durable. So we built everything on site using all 3/4 birch plywood for the boxes, for the noseing and the doors I used poplar for it's durability. This kitchen is as custom as they come, I worked closely with the homeowner. For example she wanted the Keurig to be on the counter top, but also hidden. I used a garage door like hinge on the front of that cabinet, to lift up and slide in to save space. Next I built a sliding shelf for it to sit on, so she would have access to it with out having to pick it up. I built drawer fronts of the dishwasher and fridges to match the cabinets. | $11k | Duxbury, MA
Squantum Ma | Dec 2012 | Here they wanted to turn their dirty old basement into living space for their kids. We installed a Bathroom, Bedroom, Walk-in Closet, and Living-room. It was a concrete slab so for the flooring we went with an engineered pre-finished oak floor. Because of moisture we installed 2 vapor barriers below. First is a heavy duty poly, and we went on top of that with an insulated vapor barrier. There were a lot of pipes and wires Hanging for the ceiling and didn't have the budget to have them moved, so we wrapped them all in pine boxes and crown moulding. In the bathroom they needed a access panel to get to the mechanical under the stairs. I used breadboard and chair rail to hide it, that section is screwed in so they can remove by taking out 4 screws. | $22k | Quincy, MA
