I had a very poor experience working with this company. I had 6 helical piers installed in 2009. In 2017, multiple cracks started to form, with more to the right corner in 2021. I called Ram Jack and they gave me the run around on coming out to assess the work, and after multiple attempts of threatening to hire an engineer and sue them, they finally put me on the schedule. After coming out, they changed their story and something felt off. Hence, I hired an engineer who assessed the situation and determined that one of the piers they installed was at an insufficient depth (5 foot) on top of a rock, and that because the rock moved, the pier moved. The engineer recommended that they either drill through the rock or have it excavated to install the pier at sufficient depth. I have attached a copy of the report for reference. Ram Jack tried to claim that my wall was bowing and I needed another solution to fix the problem, which the engineers report debunked as false. Ram Jack refuses to remediate the issue. If I were going about this process again, I would have hired a company with much better Google reviews, and I would consider Ram Jack's lifetime warranty claim as more of a marketing ploy, and one that will require a lot of hassle to get them to follow through on their commitments. They also exclude damages to your premises in the warranty, however, if they do not do a proper installation, or fix a warranty issue in a reasonable timeframe, it will cause more damages to your property that they will not cover.
