Luna's Chimney Sweep & Air Duct Cleaning

NOT A LICENSED CONTRACTOR!!! ONLY OPERATING WITH A BUSINESS LICENSE. This is going to sound like an incredible story but it is true and just happened right now. I was in escrow for a house I took 6 months to remodel. I hired Luna to come and sweep the chimney and he also repaired the flashing and crown. With the crown repair, it came with a warranty. My potential buyer called to confirm the work and warranty with Pedro. He denied doing any work on my property. I was on vacation and by the time I got back to provide the buyer with the receipt and cleared check, she had already made up my mind that I was lying about everything at the house based on this one call with Pedro. Because of his terrible filing system or he was nervous to say he did the work in case there was an issue (I am not sure why he lied), he cost me the sale of my house with a $712 cash offer. When I called to ask why he said what he did, he just kept quite on the phone and didn't respond. Because of this, I now have to seek justice through the court system. Do NOT trust that if he promises you a warranty with your work, that he would honor it. I even kept my receipt and warranty booklet and he still told my potential buyer that he had never been out to my house. BEWARE! He might not even be in business because I will be taking this all the way to court.
