Great contractor. Professional, cares about the project, makes sure all subs do a very good job. House building went so smoothly. Can't say enough about the quality and expertise in the house. If you are looking for the best use them. You will not regret it.

After getting off to a bad start with a couple of General Contractors, we engaged with Tom La Placa to oversee the construction of our new home in Pasadena. All I can say is WOW - what a difference between the amateurs and a Pro! He oversaw all of the construction and commanded great respect from all the subs (and the city inspector), because it is obvious that he knows what he is doing. He coordinated a mind-boggling task with ease. We are very, very happy with the results. He gave us a lot of personal touches, without spending a lot of money. Oh, and I should mention, it only took about 3 1/2 months start to finish! We have had many compliments on the house and plan to stay here a long time. My wife and I wholeheartedly recommend Tom to anyone that wants a first class job.

We have been doing business with La Placa Construction for 25+ years. Tom is a first class contractor with quality & service being his top priority. Something that seems to be giving way to cheap prices and bad craftsmanship in today's times.
