Mark and Todd did a wonderful job on my apartment in Huntington. They gutted my kitchen and somehow installed new materials on extremely uneven walls and floors to perfection. I cannot say enough about their quality of work. Additionally, they were always communicating the status of the job, and I never had to "hunt them down" for anything. This is very different from some of the other local contractors I dealt with for my bathroom. These guys are honest and reasonably priced. The work, well, it speaks for itself. Top notch. Whoever hires them will undoubtedly be thrilled at the end of the project.

Projects were a series of relatively minor fixes around our house, both outside and in. Great work and easy to work with. Will be using them again.

Clients desire to preserve as much of porch as possible while remaining prudent towards replacement. So we kept railing system for most part minus 1 big section that was custom built. All the columns were secured to headers by straps before jacking up entire roof and columns and then supported while we took everything out from under them, as deck was installed originally before columns were put in place. Replaced with new pressure treated joist and beams, new deck boards primed before installation. Lowered roof after all carpentry and trim work was done. Attic insulation failure | Mar 2014 | Client complained of huge amounts of moisture and condensation in attic, with mold starting to grow. After inspecting the recent Blown in Cellulose throughout, it was clear that there was an installation failure! But what element. Recent siding installed by others, recent roof project by others, and the new cellulose. New vinyl non-vented soffit material was installed possibly stopping airflow up. The roofers had installed cobra rolled roof vent as well, but it appeared completely squashed- We decided to start with least expensive possibility and that was no air getting out through cobra vent. A quick match blow out and it was clear nothing was escaping. So we tore off caps and installed the ridged roof vents from Certainteed, and re-capped. Problem solved. The moisture dried up and mold ceased. The sciences of insulation are complicated. Whether closed spray foam, open cell, cellulose or fiberglass insulation extreme caution should be exercised before having just anyone install it. Air flow and how and where it flows, or is trapped are critical thoughts....air carries moisture. | $650 | Commack, NY |
