Interior Remodel | Mar 2013 | Chrysalis Award Entry Interior Remodel A vaulted cathedral ceiling tops a large conservatory style sunroom that serves as the anchor of this project. This room addition's unique roof was designed to stand out with style yet tie together with the rest of the traditional home. The room would have floor to ceiling windows on all external walls. Finally, for privacy at night or sun shading during the day, each window would get an independently operating custom shade controlled by one master remote. Behind the sunroom, the new bath addition features a luxury guest shower complete with tile walk-in shower and amenities. Across the hall from the bath more closets are built to add to the home's storage capacity. Adjacent to the sunroom, the formerly small and overfilled kitchen would get a 12ft addition toward the backyard.
