Does not stand behind his work. Uneven lights installed, as well as the wrong color switch. Refuses to correct the problem.

Steve and Alex installed a brand new electrical panel (upgrade) and went above and beyond rewiring my range connection in the kitchen so I wasn't left without a stove and oven. Member Comments: I called Steve last night after typical work hours extremely nervous about the loud buzzing I heard in my electrical panel. He literally dropped what he was doing and drove straight to my house. He called me again on his way over to make sure his GPS was giving him the correct address, and I confided honestly in him at that time about what he might find when he got here. I've lived in my house for the last 29 years and have been living with multiple un-repaired electrical issues for years. Being a single mom and raising three kids on my own without any disposable income made repairs virtually impossible. So I had just been praying that things would hold out until I could afford to get them fixed. I had chosen Steve from Angie's list a week earlier and had planned on calling him two days later to fix my range, which had suddenly stopped working, so I was grateful not to have to hunt for an electrician blindly that particular evening. But having this new and potentially large additional problem left me extremely concerned about affordability. Steve reassured me not to jump ahead of myself and that once he got here and took a look at the problem, we could talk further. It was determined I needed a new electrical panel because the main breaker had failed. It didn't surprise me, as the panel was 29 years old. Steve spoke to me compassionately, worked out a deep discount, and offered me 30 day financing so that I could move forward with the repair. I would never have been able to afford the repair otherwise. The following day, Steve and Alex came over and installed the new electrical panel. They were very kind, answering all of my questions in great detail and made sure I understood what they were doing and why. After the panel install when the range still didn't operate properly, Steve located the problem and devoted additional time, free of charge, to stay and rewire the range connection so that he wouldn't have to leave me and my family without a stove and oven. This is an electrician who cares deeply about doing quality work and he does it with heart. Steve worked hard to earn my trust, and I give him my highest recommendation.

Description Of Work: - Installed two ceiling fans. - Bonded gas line and the main grounding electrodes. - Installed 600W dimmer on the living room light. - Installed 3-way switch to replace bad dimmer. - Installed digital timers for outside lights. Steve is fabulous!! He knows his stuff and great to help you make you lighting look as great as possible. I hired Steve to wired my screened in porch porch. They installed 6-6"recessed cans on a dimmer, 2-ceiling fans with speed controls, 4 outlets, 2 speaker recessed in the ceiling, a wall mounted flat screen TV wired with surround sound. They also installed a infared heater so I can enjoy my porch even on cold nights. Everything works perfectly and I love how well everything was placed. I will never hire another electrician. Steve is now my guy. I have my DR., dentist and electrician LOL! You rock Steve and I will tell all my friends about you!!
