HandyMann and Plumbing

This is a follow up to my first review. I have many issues that are a problem with this contractor. All I can say is BEWARE!!! This contractor is horrible. The workmanship is that of a twelve year old and that is an insult to a twelve year old. The grout is substandard, the damage to the woodwork is unbelievable and the bench that he built is horrible. I have had a plumbing specialist come in and comment on the substandard workmanship. It took many weeks and numerous calls and texts to get this project finished. He says he offers a 90 day guarantee, but when contacted about returning to fix some issues, there is no response. Per the recommendation of Porch.com, I have now contacted the BBB. Don't make the same mistake I did. DO NOT HIRE THIS CONTRACTOR!!!

Ryan was very friendly and followed up with us in a timely manner. However, after we hired him, it was very difficult to communicate with him. He would not show up for days and did not respond to texts and emails. We finally got our shower finished after over a month, but I had to do a lot of clean up and removal of extra grout and tile cement. There is still a piece of molding that he took home with him that we do not have and will have to try to match existing as he is again not responding to phone calls and texts. He says he gives a 3 month guarantee but if he won't respond to communication, that is pretty worthless. The workmanship is fair to mediocre. I would not recommend him to any friend.

We had a leaking toilet and non-working water softener. The leaking toilet was a real issue on a Friday evening. Ryan added us to the end of his day and worked to fix our issues until nearly 10 pm! He was extremely pleasant, professional and reasonably priced. He did a great job for us!
