High Dollar Outhouse

Aug 2013

This project was a shower house next to the pool for a homeowner in Greenwood. The project involved rough-in drains and water lines, concrete foundation, pine framing, and dimensional shingles just to create the layout for a bathroom/shower next to the pool. Moving further into this project, we used our licensed electrician to run wiring for all the electrical involved and our qualified employees to created a custom concrete shower base for a good size stand up shower. Then we used concrete backerboard and water proof sealant, for a long lasting water proof seal before installation of tile. For the shower house part of this project, we used 12x12 ceramic tile from floor to ceiling and matching mosaic for the shower floor. We use a whisper grey grout to really highlight and bring attention to all the colors in the ceramic tile. Afterwards,we installed a window, doors, as well as drywall and paint for the storage closet. To finalize this project, we sealed all grout joints, installed finish faucets, sink, toilet, outlets, bath vent, lights and light switches.

Lawrence Laminate

Dec 2013

This was one of many jobs from a client in Lawrence. The customer supplied the material and the laminate flooring, transition pieces and quarter round came from Lowe's. All of the laminate flooring was cut to fit with an expansion gap to prevent the floor from buckling during the summer. Every piece was lock in place with precision to prevent any damage during installation. Quarter round and transitions were installed at the finish to cover expansion gaps and connect areas where laminate and tile or carpet met together.
