Carpentry by Chris is a residential remodeling design-build company established in Iowa City in 2001 by Chris Weckmann. Chris hired his first employee in 2002 and the company now employs six full-time craftsmen. The company now operates out of a 3,400-sq. ft. shop and office with a fleet of five vehicles. The companys sales now approach $1 million annually.
