Originally founded thirty-five years ago in Savannah, Georgia as J.W. VanderBrink Installations, my Company has provided carpentry and cabinet installations for both residential and commercial customers. Working in both Savannah and Hilton Head Island we provided cabinet installations and interior trim services for most of the Islands premier general contractors. We installed systems in Harbour Town in Sea Pines, Shelter Cove, Palmetto Dunes and Palmetto Bay. At Palmetto Bay we built a 42' wide 48' tall Harbor Master's Gazebo which sits in the Calibogue River. For twenty years we provided showroom installs for a variety of cabinet manufacturers including: Shenandoah, American Woodmark, KraftMaid, Thomasville, and numerous others. Covering home improvement stores from Maine to Key West including stores West to the Mississippi River. Most of the local home improvement stores have showrooms built by our company. Locally we were involved in the decorative wood interiors at Ballantyne Office Park's numerous six and ten story buildings. Installing elevator interiors, bathroom partials and foyers trim and panels. Several years ago I was asked to built a kitchen set for filming of a Lowes production featuring cabinets and trim installation. We spent two weeks at the Corps HQ working this project to produce a 25 minute video. I'm a retired Active Duty and Reserve Navy Seabee with worldwide construction experiences and involvement in three National Defense conflicts. In the aftermath of 911 I was called to active duty for over 630 days of service. I retired from the Navy on August 1st, 2010 from SEaL Team Eighteen. During the last three years I was the Naval Science Instructor at Greenville Senior High School, Greenville, SC. I resigned at the beginning of this year to return to my home and family in Iron Station.
