The shop is to be avoided and the owner is not trustworthy. The employee at the end of job told me that the cost would be $400 to clear a clog in a toilet or if I wanted to avoid taxes I could pay him $300 in cash. I declined the cash option as it is illegal to avoid taxes and I needed a receipt for reimbursement. Later that day, I received a bill from the owner for $801.71. After several attempts to resolve the matter with the owner over the last week, he refuses to honor the price quoted by his employee. As part of my profession, I refer contractors frequently, I will not be referring this company!
