Don Guldin, General Contractor

“Creativity” appears to me to be Don Guldin’s greatest talent; and I’m not referring to “construction!” More than 40 times he made purchases from Lowes and requested “cash-back” in the amount of $40; and he baptized, as “materials,” all of those purchases including the cash, and charged them to me. When it comes to tools, he likes lots of them...he purchased jig and skill saws, a drill and bits, a router, levels, grinder, trowel, staple and caulk guns, a ladder, flashlight, etc. When one shops, for tools, one must have snacks and drinks… and one must look good while shopping so he stopped in at Simpson Brothers and purchased himself a pair of boots and a belt for $150. Yes, you got it...he charged it all to me as “materials!” This is a “condensed version” of my experience with Don Guldin. If you are interested in more of the story, contact me and I will be pleased to show you the quality of the work he accepted from his subcontractors and his own staff. You can also review documents he filed against me when I refused to pay him the final $25,000 he said I owed him that the court ruled (he selected a trial by jury) I did not have to pay. Would I recommend Don Guldin as a General Contractor? Not in this lifetime! I consider this activity to be “theft” prosecutable through the Criminal Court System, but our District Attorney does not.
