I am truly impressed with the quality of service I received when having CrawlJacks & Encapsulation installed in my home by EvrDry. I had several broken floor joists in my home that made my floors so slanted that I had to shim up one side of my bed frame legs to stop from rolling onto the floor in the middle of the night! Jacob did an awesome job helping me get my home foundation supported right and is now also keeping any moisture from coming in contact with my new supports.. EvrDry saved me thousands by correcting this issue before any major problems popped up right under my feet!

  | Crawl Space Recovery | Feb 2019 | Crawl space homes are much more common in the south and west coast, but can be found just about anywhere. Since crawl spaces are left exposed to the elements, they are naturally susceptible to foundation damage. When it comes to crawl spaces, there are 3 areas of concern: Structural Problems: Structural issues weaken the support system of the home, causing floors to sag, cracks in walls and doors & windows that stick – Left unaddressed, these stability issues can dramatically impact the value and appearance of your home. Water Problems: Water seeks the path of least resistance and enters your crawl space through weak points. Pooling water underneath the home can lead to structural damage, rot, mold, and unpleasant odors throughout the home. Air Quality Problems: Do you notice musty odors coming from the crawl space? In your home, hot air rises from below and escapes near the upper levels. This means the air you breath inside your home comes from the humid crawl space area, through a process known as the Stack Effect. Crawl spaces can become a mess – wood rot, pooling water, uneven floors, foul odors and mold are just a few examples of the problems that can affect an untreated crawl space. In this project we include the construction installation and materials for new floor joists to replace broken and rotten ones, concrete bases, CrawlJacks made of 11 gauge steel custom fit to your home, and new support beams on top to evenly support our new floor joists with a precise adjustment for each one exactly where you need recovery. 1) Preparation of the Area Under the Home. EvrDry Specialists will illuminate the space, identify the targeted areas and prepare the installation areas. 2) Placement of CrawlJacks Support Bases and Columns. Pre-determined locations are identified to facilitate the placement of concrete pads. 3) Additional Support. Beams or wood frame support is added if needed. CrawlJacks adjustable support columns are installed. 4) Adjustment: CrawlJacks support columns are adjusted to the correct setting.
