Custom Revival and Restoration

This project consisted of a basement rental unit remodel after the departure of a destructive tenant. We began by tearing out what needed to go; in this case the entire bathroom, leftover furniture, linoleum in bathroom / entry room and the broken concrete from an air pocket in the foundational floor of the home. After opening the floor in the living room, the gravel was graded and levelled and the floor re-poured. Once the concrete was set back in this entry room, we were able to tile over the now level floor. The entry room featured a brown tile array sorted in a neat grid of 12" x 12"s, with a mosaic tile transition running into the bathroom which we tiled in a shattered mosaic pattern with varying colors. After finishing the tile we built a custom walk in tiled shower, with attached towel/toiletry shelves and an access panel for the showers plumbing. The pictures show the extent of how much the bathroom changed; we also had to seal off a window that wasn't being used in the bathroom. Cost Amount includes all labor and material; i.e. tile, grout, mortar, wood, paint, shower fixtures, toilet, sink, dump fees, etc.
