Innovating Painting

Do not use innovating painting. Jeff was allegedly a friend. Against my better judgement I listened to my husband and hired said friend figuring if were putting the money in anyone's pocket better him. Day one was supposed to come for estimate and never showed or called. Shouldve been the first red flag. Came for estimate and hired him to come out for the work. First day at work up and left the job for lunch and left his stuff all over. Never came back. Day 2 comes back to finish the work. Came home to him saying he was done and my whole house covered in dust and he was pushing a bone to clean my floors since he failed to bring a shop vac I was pissed as I had 8 million other things to do remodeling my house than to clean up his work. While cleaning the dust found paint all over the floors, light fixtures and walls. He only rolled the ceiling and never used a brush around the edges. Trim was never filled. More paint was on the walls and floor than the actual trim. He said he would return the following day to finish. Never showed with more excuses how he didnt have a car. Even after I offered to pick him up and get an uber. He told my husband he refuses to come back when I'm home because I have a bad attitude. Hell yes I have a bad attitude when you destroyed my house and left me your mess to clean. He was again supposed to come this weekend to finish but more excuses. I'll see you in small claims court jeff!
