The owner's property management company contacted CMS regarding significant work which needed to be evaluated for repair/replacement. Work included new stair railings and pickets on (4) sets of access stairs, repair/replacement of existing structural foundation framing components, addressing faulty wiring & evaluation of existing water heater for replacement. Coordination with the County Building Department & inspection process was also undertaken by CMS on behalf of the owner.

On the lower grounds of Kona Community Hospital sits a 4,000 SF WW2 era nurses cottage which had fallen in disrepair to some extent. KCH requested our team perform significant building maintenance and repairs to this building including new exterior doors & security screen doors, door hardware, new paint, new roof, new gutters. Also repair of original double hung windows + addition of new window screens on all 32 windows. Since lead-based paint was being addressed, we utilized our EPA lead-abatement certification to help address that portion of this magnificent project. We completed the project on time and under budget alongside obtaining permits and necessary county inspections.

The owners property manager of this rental house needed assistance with troubleshooting and fixing the "sticky" pocket doors to the lanai overlooking the ocean. David Whitehill doors are tricky, and this job required our experience and expertise with these doors to accomplish. 12 doors total were adjusted and worked flawlessly after a couple hours of fine tuning.
