Jeff Paulson General Contracting

Jeff Paulson did various jobs in and around my house. His work was exceptional. I was referred to him by a local realtor. His work is all by word of mouth. He has a very good reputation, and is known for his meticulous attention to detail. I am stunned to read the above review. The particular realtor that referred him to me said she has had many clients who were wowed by his work. I would use him again in a heartbeat, and have referred other friends to him. Thank you Jeff!

I have many complaints about the work that Jeff Paulson did on my house, among which was redoing work done incorrectly with respect to installing cedar shakes and corner moldings, and improper repair of a section of fence. My main complaint is that he was hired to repair serious water-rot-moisture ant problems that resulted from an earlier improper installation of windows on my house. His repair included the installation of flashing on the exterior of the siding, which was nailed on, and which would have allowed rain to seep in behind (again) the windows of my house, esp. the seven that were exposed to direct rain. The flashing on seven windows had to be redone at my expense. (The other three windows were under an overhang and thus not exposed.) As well he is not a tidy worker, does not clean up properly, does not always come at the day and time he said he would. I would never hire this contractor again. He does not provide a contract, does not warrantee his work, and has other questionable habits.
