Lee Engineering Company

I was misled by the positive reviews and friendly demeanor of my rep, Joel. This company does not care about performing a quality job, communication, your time, or the crew they send to your home. They are by far the worst home service experience I have had. They left my yard littered in cigarettes, trash, and dying sod (in the few places they laid it) and took a week to complete a one day job (without ever communicating to me when they would be at my home). I still can not get a call from their management or anyone who may care. Please find another company to do business with.

They installed my system at my home and were not cheap. I really don't know where to start. I guess with this year's problems. I called a week and a half ago to make an appointment regarding a leak in my drip irrigation system where pooled water had been for over a week at that time. They made an appointment for 9 this morning and sent me a message yesterday to confirm the appointment. The appointment was for 9 AM. At 9:22 I texted them for their ETA as I hadn't heard from them. They did not respond. I waited an hour and called them at 10:02. Their response was that they are having truck problems and wanted to put me off for another week. They didn't care that it was a leak, they just wanted to delay the repair. They offered no excuse for not answering my text or not telling me they wouldn't show up today. I guess I would have waited all day IF I HADN'T CALLED THEM. I'd rather wait a week for someone else rather than gamble with Lee cancelling/delaying another appointment. They are very undependable. Briefly - my irrigation was done in three installs because of money. When they did my front yard, they damaged the oval edging around my flowerbed. I showed the lead person when it happened and he did not forward it to management. I had to call to get it repaired. When they installed my backyard sod system then broke the tile on my patio (I was standing there in front of the guy when it happened) and the guy did not tell his lead on the job. I told the lead and he let it die. I had to call to get it fixed. My son used Lee for their system and the installers broke an electrical conduit in the back yard in two places and told no-one. This was discovered later when water started coming out of the electrical box on his lower patio. The point is - their installers do not report damages done. It's left up to the homeowner to find and report the issues. Think I was treated poorly today after having them : Install my system at a cost of several thousand dollars Buy the controller for remote monitoring of the water usage (>$600) Buy the water efficient water heads (($1,000+) Refer my son to them for a complete yard install several years ago. Don't buy into their hype. They talk about good service and equipment but they don't deliver. Also, you better be there when the work is done or you will never know what may have been damaged.
