This installation required a terraced platform for the generator which was achieved by boxing out the area with pressure treated 6x6 material to 12" in height and then back-filling with crushed gravel.   | Hockessin DE Furnace & Air Conditioner Replacement | Oct 2015 | This project entailed the replacement of two heating and air conditioning systems along with re-installing two whole home humidifiers. We installed all new sheet metal to include a drain pan and emergency shut off. Condensate pumps were also installed with vinyl tubing run to the exterior of the home. With this installation we had 60 foot runs for both gas an electric with an additional 60 feet of run to connect a second electrical panel across the entire basement. Due to township code the generator needed 5 feet of clearance from the house, we utilized slim duct to hide the exterior lines and landscaped the entire area in which the generator was installed. Though the clients unit was still working it was past its prime and they wanted to be proactive. R&D installed the outdoor condenser on a new pad with a crushed stone based. New refrigerant lines were run as we switched from R-22 refrigerant to Puron.
