Sep 2018

The Fremont Castle project is a low slope roof replacement in Seattle, Washington. The old torch down material had failed and there were several leaks. We removed the torch down, plywood and insulation. New insulation, plywood and PVC was installed. We upgraded the drainage system and installed a tapper system to divert water to the drains. A new walking deck will be installed over the roofing membrane in order to enjoy the beautiful view of Seattle. Project Time Frame: 4-5 days

The Historic Chelsea Apartments

Aug 2018

In July of 2018, Three Tree Roofing was awarded a contract to re-roof the Historic Chelsea Apartments with modern TPO, a 100% waterproof chemically resistant thermo-plastic membrane that has become the leading choice for low-pitched and flat roofs in Washington State. This was a challenging and rewarding roof to complete which included limited access, multiple existing layers, carpentry repairs, and a great deal of custom stucco work. We also didn’t want to disturb the residents by traveling through the inside of the building. We held an on-site safety meeting with our crew leader and constructed an external stair tower and garbage shoot. This building was built in 1906 and had several roofs added over the years. Once the old roofing was removed and the carpentry repairs were completed, we installed .60 Mil TPO membrane. The roof turned out great and most of the residents didn’t even know we were there. Clean up was done each day including a magnet sweep to pick up any nails and metal debris that might have fallen during removal process. Project time frame was 14 business days.

Lake Washington Metal Roof

Aug 2018

What a beautiful roof! We tore off the old torch down roof. The old material was then recycled and used to pave roads. This roof has a shared roof deck, so the inside lumber is the same lumber to which we installed the new roof. We installed a high temp ice and water shield, new insulation, new fascia board, plywood, and the new metal roof and gutters. We installed a very nice 24 gauge metal roof and new 5k aluminum gutters and downspouts. A new low energy, argon filled double pane skylight was added and the chimney was wrapped with matching metal. Project time frame was 7 business days.
