Handyman - Kentwood, MI
Hi, my name is Josh. I have over 10 years of experience doing repairs and maintenance on homes and rental properties. I grew up in Minnesota, and from a very young age I began doing construction work with my father. He was a construction worker as a young man, so whenever anything needed to be done around the house he did it. My grandfather owned over a dozen rental properties while I was growing up, and my dad and I were his "fix it" crew. Between maintaining rental properties and upgrading/keeping up the family home I learned a little bit of every trade from my father. As I got older I began to find my own fascination with construction work of all kinds. My first job was on a siding and roofing crew for my uncle's construction company. I was only 15 and the majority of my job was clean-up, but I learned a lot about efficient quality work. In high school I took a few industrial arts classes and CAD classes. The CAD classes provided me with a lot of knowledge on the precision of finish construction, while the industrial arts taught me more about how to use all kinds of tools in ways I may have never thought before! In the last 4 years I have graduated from Calvin College, renovated 2 complete houses, worked for Charter Communications as a field technician, and started Worry Free Handyman Service. Currently Worry Free Handyman Service is my full time job when I'm not at home taking care of my little guy who was born in June of 2014! I enjoy interacting with people, and I would love the opportunity to help you improve your home and make it the most comfortable place it can be!
