Big Oak Construction is my go to contractor they have done various projects throughout my home. Built a 12x12 shed, outdoor kitchen, outside bar, installed engineered hardwood flooring in my living room, 12x12 tile flooring in my kitchen and dining room, stone veneer on the front of the house. All of this has been 1st rate quality work. I don't think that there is anything he could not do...

  | Complete Kitchen Remodel | Nov 2014 | We worked with our designer to open up the floor plan of the "empty nester" home by removing a wall that separated the kitchen from the living area. This made the home feel more spacious without increasing the space. We extended the kitchen into the rarely used dining room to create more counter space. Then we created an island that included the sink, dishwasher, a small eating area at one end. We worked closely with the homeowners who supplied their own materials. We provided planning, permits, subcontractors for electrical and plumbing and general over site.   | 1950s Orlando Ranch Home | Jan 2013 | Complete gut and restoration of this home built in the 1950s. This house was a mess when I first saw it. There was rotten wood everywhere, in fact, the hall bath tub had fallen through the floor and was sitting on the ground below and the entire dining room area had collapsed. Same goes for the AC air handler. We took on the challenge to bring this home back to life and stay on the owner's budget. This was a complete re-build including the structure, roof, windows and doors, electrical, HVAC , plumbing and insulation. We worked closely with the homeowner who did some of the work himself like painting, helping with demo and installing interior doors. He also supplied most of the materials for this job which saved a lot of money. This is the Orlando version of 'This Old House". The home is now a beautiful place to live.
