C & S Refinishing & Upholstery

Attention local business is taking advantage of people. Do not use C&S FURNITURE REFINISHING and UPHOLSTERY I had a recliner that had 2 springs loose and one broken so I called around and was quoted 150 as long as the springs could be reached on the bottom of the chair, They could. the springs and brackets that held them in place were clearly visable and accessable on the bottom. I dropped the chair off on Oct 15 and was told it would be 2 to 4 weeks. They didnt even start on the chair until Dec 7th and finished it Dec 10th. I know this because the guy called to ask me a question the day he started on it, I asked the man when he called to tell me it was ready what the total with tax would be and was told he would tell me when I got there, I now know why he charged me 273.00 and on top of that there were no parts used all he did was take loose the other 3 springs and rearrange them with more space between them so now instead of 6 long springs there are 5. and with the fact that they took almost 2 mnths to even start on my chair is ridiculous, I could have had it fixed in days with someone coming to my home for what he charged me, I only used them because I thought I was saving money I was never told of the price difference before the work was done, Then I get on angies list to leave a review and find they did the same to someone else on 11-12-18

I had two pieces of furniture picked up for repair. I was told it would be approximately 500.00. I was also told if it was more someone would call me. I was told it would be about three weeks to get finished. When I called they said it would take longer but didn't mention anything about a price increase. When the furniture was brought out the price had more than doubled. I told the person it was more then I quoted. He took the price down a little and I paid nearly double of what I was quoted. What a shame the work was beautiful but the communication in this case was terrible!
