About emme by design
emme by design is my small home-based business. I occasionally have a few pre-finished pieces to select from, but my work is primarily custom. My current inventory can be viewed at https://www.facebook.com/emmebydesign. All of my work is hand-painted and stained, and I use all high-quality products. I use pre-blended paints, as well as offering custom blended shades. I do *not* do major repairs. If a piece is to be painted, I can do small patch work, but that is the limit of my expertise. | Vintage Maple Dining Table (available for sale) | Sep 2014 | This table was a pile of disassembled pieces, and had cracking from age and neglect. It smelled like stale smoke, and was covered in cobwebs. After washing, stripping, and staining, the surface was coated with a double coat of protective wax.
