He took a down payment , several months later asked for more money for the paint cost difference...and that was that. I hired a Latino Company that did what they promised...MS woods left me with a 2000.loss.

Do not consider Michael Woods (MS woods Painting) I am out 2 G. He will give you a "quote" take a down payment and disappear. I tried everything, to get him to do some work. Nothing, nothing nothing, The "down payment was paid in Feb.2020. I had not heard a peep from them until August when Mr Michael Woods asked for 700. more to cover the cost of the higher quality paint. . Do not even consider hiring this company.

Beware of first good impressions. We spoke with Michael and were came away with a good first impressions. We hired MS Woods Painting to stain our 2 cabins. He asked for a little over $6,000 upfront to secure supplies, which we paid. On the appointed day, workers showed up but turns out they were his sub-contractors who said they refused to start working until Michael finalized "their deal with them". Because Michael never showed up, the sub-contractors left. Michael promised in texts and phone calls to show up with other workers to start the job...but all we got was promises with no work. He then said he was sick and went out of communication. Days later he sent an apology saying he would repay but never followed through. We are now pursuing legal action, including criminal charges, against him for taking +$6,000 without performing services. I WOULD STRONGLY CAUTION AGAINST USING MS WOODS PAINTING.
