Journey Handyman services

Worked with Journey Handyman services over the past 60 days on a home we're flipping. Most often, he would show up late if at all. The project stretched out 60 days longer because he would tell us that he had 2-3 full days to work for us, then not show up. On the "last straw" day, he was to meet me at noon to finish the punch list items. He showed up at 4:00 that afternoon stating that he had to pick up a check somewhere. During our conversation, he said he would "slap a lien" on my house. However, he hadn't given me a final invoice up to that point. When I got the final invoice, I got three different texts about when I was going to pay it. (in three days) I issued a check from my bank which takes a couple of days to process. Today, he tells me that he's "through playing games with me on the bill" and will "add costs for collection" Keep in mind, I got the final invoice on Wednesday and today is Monday. I issued a check the moment I got it. Interesting that he can be late or no-show for months and then 3 business days after he issues an invoice, he expects payment.
