California Building and Remodeling

Phil and his crew helped remodel our kitchen and family room. Throughout the process he had excellent communication, and was very willing to help make sure our project stayed on schedule. He has good connections with all types of subcontractors, so there was quick turn around with each phase of the project. We had a delay in working with a 3rd party flooring company that jeopardized completing our project on time, but Phil was able to get everyone coordinated when we were down to the wire to wrap everything up in time.

I highly recommend Phil Geunther and his company, California Building and Remodeling. My mother is close to age 95 and in a wheelchair, unable to walk, and Phil and his team remodeled a room in our home so it is more wheelchair accessible. Phil's kindness to my mother is greatly appreciated. Before I called a contractor to help remodel, I said a little prayer that I would have a smooth experience because I was nervous about the job before us. Our prayers were answered completely. This was a smooth, easy and friendy experience. Phil is a good communicator and his team is impressive - professional, clean, courteous, hard-working and best of all, on time. The job was completed as contracted, and Phil came often to check their work and to ask what else we needed. I will turn to him again when more remodeling is needed because I know they will do an excellent job. I really liked their flexibility. We had several important team discussions about the design, so the plan was adjusted to make it work well. Well done!

Phil has helped me with several renovations and repairs. It's nice to have one company that can handle a large bathroom renovation and a small exterior gate repair. You usually have to contact two companies to complete that work. Phil was also available to speak with me about the work in progress, which made me feel great about being kept "in the loop!"
