Three Kings Grounds Keeping

This company does not care about their reputation or their customers. We started to use Three Kings and the first 8 months were fine. They showed up and did the work. After that they either didn't show up or when they finally did, they did not do all the work listed in our contract. We complained and tried to cancel the service but was told it auto renewed and we would be charged for the full year. They did come out and do everything including taking pictures. Not long after back to being here 10 minutes. The fact that the initial contact said they need 30 days' notice to cancel and then another paragraph buried in the terms says that you cannot cancel without paying for the whole year is unacceptable. I don't want their service they are providing; I shouldn't have to pay for service that is not happening. The owner must not care about their reputation unless it was the girl from the office who is the only one that calls, then I know she doesn't care about their reputation. Stay away from this business.

Poor service. I had French drains installed and bushes removed from the front. For what I spent I could have hired three people off the street to dig the drains. They poorly installed them and it looks terrible. I had to extend the pop out drain myself because Ashley argued with me that it was in the correct place without even visually looking. The crew seemed to be just pick ups from wherever they complained a lot and argued a lot. They left softball size rocks along where they dug up the drain lines or tossed randomly into the yard to hide them so luckily I walked the yard to remove them all before I mowed. They removed the bushes but left the entire root systems. So the roots started to pop up out of the mulch and I had to remove them and Remulch a few weeks later. No one checks the work when it’s finished she auto bills you when the work is complete. I had to remove my credit card info manually from their site.

My first complaint is with Ashley who does the Sales at this organization. The first time I signed up for services I was given incorrect information about the services..I later had a conversation with the manager of customer service and was able to cancel my services and stop the $ coming from my account. I later went back to get a quote and Ashley once again failed to disclose that if I decided to go in another direction they would charge me for just signing an estimate... Really..

This is the worst experience with landscape services I have every had, and very disappointing considering the prices they charge. The problems started with inaccurate information provided by the salesperson. This did lead to some mis-aligned expectations, but after several months of trying to get clarity on what I should expect, I learned the customer service was much worse than the lawn service. “Customer Service” for Three Kings is basically Ashley interrupting you and telling you why you are wrong. I’m not usually a one-star reviewer, but the final straw was today in once again dealing with their customer service. The field guys do an ok job, but there are many better options out there for much better value. Bottom line – ok work, terrible customer service, and salespeople telling you what you want to hear, not what they will deliver.
